TENNISfest

Free TryTennis Event

About TENNISfest

TENNISfest is Edmonton’s largest FREE TryTennis event, welcoming people of all ages — from 3 to 83 — to experience the fun, energy, and community of tennis. This annual event takes place in a spacious, weather-protected indoor venue, making it the perfect way to kick off the outdoor tennis season without worrying about the weather.

Hosted by the Edmonton Tennis Community, TENNISfest offers a welcoming space to learn, play, and connect with others. With expert coaches, engaging activities, and programs for both kids and adults, the event is designed to make tennis accessible and enjoyable for everyone — whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time or returning to the game.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make tennis a sport for life by breaking down barriers to participation and creating a friendly, supportive environment for all skill levels.

TENNISfest is about more than just trying tennis — it’s about building community, encouraging active lifestyles, and sparking a passion for the game that continues long after the event is over.

We believe tennis should be:

accessible  - free to attend, with all equipment provided

inclusive  - welcoming every age and ability level

fun  - a celebration of sport, friendship, and active living
