Girls Leading Girls Mentorship Program
About Empower Her
Empower Her is an Edmonton Tennis Community initiative designed to inspire and empower girls and young women through sport. With sports participation among girls declining, our goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where they can gain confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships — all through tennis.
Launched in 2024 after the merger of Edmonton Junior Tennis Society and Tennis Edmonton, Empower Her blends expert on-court coaching with off-court mentorship from accomplished women, helping girls thrive both in sport and life.

Program Experience
Mentorship Workshop
Led by female role models in sport, focusing on leadership, confidence, and goal setting.
On-Court Training
Tennis lessons and games with accomplished female coaches in a fun, collaborative setting.
Connection & Fun
Team activities, prizes, and the chance to make lasting friendships.
Who Can Attend
Girls aged 9–17 of all skill levels are welcome.
Cost: Free — part of ETC’s mission to make tennis accessible, especially for underserved communities.
