Francisco Marquez-Stricker

Francisco was introduced to tennis by his father, who was an avid tennis player. Francisco played regularly as a child, but then took time off to pursue his university education. He was re-introduced to the sport as an adult, and has fallen in love with Edmonton’s tennis community. 

Francisco enjoys volunteering, and has participated on various non-profit boards. He now brings his previous experience to the role of Board Treasurer. Francisco is also happy to organize Meet & Hits through MeetUp and other social events to support Edmonton’s growing tennis community.

Having lived in Edmonton for almost 30 years, Francisco is proud to be an Edmontonian and enjoys everything it has to offer. A graduate from the University of Alberta in law and engineering, has has been a practicing attorney for more than 12 years. When he is not working or playing tennis, Francisco enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
